Grace, it's not that hard to hide from teachers, as you've learnt. Besides, there wasn't really anyone to hide from! Next time when either of you are late, message me. Maybe I'll be hiding in the elevator! Haha! Downloaded two new games to my handphone today, Monopoly and mahjong. Played until I drained the battery, so it's charging right now as I type. Ming Yong just sent me one of those SMSes that hover between funny and lame. I have finally got beyond the introduction to Lawrence's Collected Poems. I never knew Mrs Smith majored in Hardy, at least I don't think I knew that. Left the celebrations at RJC earlier, because I couldn't stand the singing. The most entertaining thing was the MLDCS performance! So I went back to RI across the carpark with Derrick and Shou Jie, bummed around and met random teachers, before ending up with Mel and Vaish for five minutes in Coffee Bean. Then I went home. This was the most unexciting Chinese New Year's Eve since I became a teenager, because I chose not to go out and not to see anybody. I'm going back to being the hermit I was before I started J1! Instead, I got a free lunch by following my parents to The Café Cartel, and I watched Ocean's Eleven. Actually, I didn't really like Ocean's Eleven. I kept getting the feeling like Steven Soderbergh over-edited the movie. I like the black guy's accent though, think it's Don Cheadle. Have been wondering about this of late. Is it sad that in school I keep gravitating towards the same people in the same tired sequence? Not that they aren't nice people to hang out with, but sometimes I just wish that I could stop being driftwood and become a tree. Or a sapling, I'd settle for a sapling really. Sigh. Why can't our senior-junior party be on Sunday night? (Aside from the fact that there's school on Monday...) This week: Love And Laughter Week |
