Bubble Bath Day/Postal Day/Eat Something Raw Day/"The King's" Birthday
2005-01-08 @ 10:40 a.m.

The five-day week rocks! Decided last night to send off On A Tuesday Morning and One Whole Minute to Kai Min for the collaborative publication. It just occurred to me that if I had written the former a few months earlier than I did, I'd have sent it to the Graphic Poetry project instead of whichever poem it was I sent. No matter, there'll be other chances in the future. Have to write a new poem for De Profundis, this concert in aid of the tsunami victims at which I'm reciting a poem. My poem is supposed to be uplifting and hopeful, which runs the risk of it becoming clichéd. Will give it some thought soon, since it has to be out by Monday. Does anyone want to go for the concert? It's on Friday, January 14 from 6-7 pm. Tickets are $10 each, since this is a fundraising concert. Incidentally, today I finally decided on two texts for English 'S' - Thom Gunn's Collected Poems and Michael Cunningham's A Home At The End Of The World. Will think of a few more soon, I guess. This is a great excuse to buy more books though. Haha...
