You see lots of familiar faces in the underpass, as I've realised after doing Somethingood today. People count: Ben Moh, Eldon, Guan Zhen, Lee Han, Yijun. I'm quite stoned after standing around canning today. After all, I did just arrive home yesterday. Okay, there was that time around 2 pm when I left Judith at the mosaic wall, while I ran around trying to find a cheap lunch. (In the end, I still had to cough up more money than I was willing to for lunch.) Kudos to the people who planned this though. Sigh, I'm not cut out to be a canner. I'm incapable of approaching people for donations unless someone else around me is also doing it. Still, from what I've seen so far, people seem to be more partial to string and guitar ensembles than to other forms of busking. That's why canning at Shaw House is wonderful, because the string quartet there has the effect of making people more generous. This week: International Language Week |
