Winter Flowers Day/Brownie Day/Feast of Immaculate Conception
2004-12-08 @ 10:16 p.m.

I've just watched a film that looks it was ripped off by The Forgotten. Now I'm watching a French film set at the turn of the last century. No tours today, just a few ferry rides and lots of walking. Ate barramundi and salmon for lunch and dinner respectively, so I'm reasonably happy. The ferries are a cool form of public transport though. I wish I were at home right now. The society of one's family grows tedious (because absence makes the heart grow fonder), and one begins to desire a different sort of company. That's why I believe that the best travelling companions are friends. There when you need them, easily disposed of when you don't. (Just kidding!) Six is an ideal number, neither too big nor too small. If one gets tired of the company, one can always run off by oneself for a spell. Good line just came up in the movie - Nothing ages as quickly as happiness. How true.
