Did a full-day tour today. I can't even go on holiday without having to wake up at 6 am. We took an excruciatingly long ride by coach, with an ebullient driver who made us introduce ourselves one by one. We stopped at Anna Bay to go sliding down the sand dunes, which was exhilarating, even if having to climb up a slope of shifting sand is decidedly tiresome. Next, it was off to Port Stephens at Nelson Bay to dolphin-watch. That was pretty fun, but the wind was too strong up on the deck. Didn't get much to eat either, mostly fast food. I did get a latte frappe from the McCafe when we stopped at a petrol station on the way back. Got another tour lined up tomorrow. Hope it won't require as much travelling as today's did!
