Mimic II wasn't that good. I don't even get why Ben thinks it's nice! It's passable for an episode out of some Buffyesque series, but as a movie the whole thing just doesn't wash. Mutated cockroaches evolving to become humanoid insects? Give me Vanity Fair anytime. Fail to comprehend Daniel's insistance that Vanity Fair is pop culture. Isn't Bride And Prejudice worse? At least Vanity Fair purports to be a realisation of Thackeray's work on the silver screen, not some Bollywood take on Austen's novel. Not that I have anything against Bollywood, or reinterpretations of literary works, but I think he's being way too close-minded about the whole thing. Ah whatever. As I told Thong, it's not like it makes any difference as to whether I watch the movie...
