Finally finished both my essays, Ms Lim's at sometime past midnight and Mr Purvis's at sometime past 4 pm. Was doing the latter throughout the Economics and History lectures, but stupid Mr Kwok confiscated it. Rather than go crawling to him (of all people) to beg for my papers, I just rewrote the whole thing. I do have my pride you know, and as far as I'm concerned, I'll do a lot of other things before pleading to get a half-done essay back. I wonder how he'd have reacted if I snatched the essay back? I bet half the lecture group would have laughed out loud. So I was clicking my pen onto various surfaces during his tutorial at the end of the day, in a childish attempt to irritate the hell out of him. It didn't work, but I think it irked Eugene though. I've discovered which surfaces make nice sounds that can be sampled and looped in some electronic track. They are the table, the chair leg, the window frame, and Eugene's bottle. I offer you my new favourite phrase for consideration: "black fraternisation". Thomas Hardy is brilliant.
