Wrote a new poem during our back-to-back History tutorials today. It was inspired by this quote that I saw on a board in the room where I had SV Bible study on Tuesday. It's only the second poem where I've used rhyme, and I don't really like the result to be honest. I think only the last rhyming couplet is worth anything really. Speaking of poetry, today's lecture on the poetry comparison question was rather dry. I swear I'll finish all my essays over the weekend, including the comparison one Mr Purvis just gave us today. Antony & Cleopatra is languishing somewhere in my room, so I'm going to dust it out later and read it tomorrow in preparation for my marathon essay-writing session on Friday night and all of Saturday. No more fun and games until the essays are done! (I'll just go and shoot myself now, thank you very much.)
