Just got back from the recce at Sentosa. My feet hurt! Today was one of the days when I did the most work, which is to say that I actually read something related to academic stuff. Unification of Italy to be exact, which is in my humble opinion a lot more interesting than German unification. Compare it to the numerous points at which the whole process of Italian unification could have been derailed, and you'll find that Bismarck was just too damn efficient! (I predict Vaish is screaming "No!" right now, and so is Chun Long. Whatever guys.) I'm still ploughing through the collected poems of Sylvia Plath, and assorted novels. Projet Utopia is a challenge to read in French, and I'm still stuck at chapter three! I need to buy a better dictionary than the one they sold us at MOELC, but the ones I'm thinking of getting cost a lot. Not too much, just a lot. I think I'll go and take a shower, because I feel sleepy and disgustingly dirty. More later...
