Women's Equality Day/Cherry Popsicle Day/Toilet Paper Day/Horseshoe Day/Duck Festival (Louisiana)
2004-08-26 @ 9:53 p.m.

Mr Purvis told us today that he doesn't want to move to Bishan. The class's reaction was predictably lukewarm in its restraint. I was just as guilty. I think some of them don't believe he'd actually make good on that declaration. Maybe he was just having a bad day today, but what if it's not just that? I understand why he might feel that way, ACJC probably can pay him better than RJC anyway. (Isn't it ironic that RJC alumni include so many of our highly paid politicians, yet we're too poor to install air-conditioning until a few years from now?) Sophia, I apologise for not doing any of the things we said that afternoon that we'd do. You're right, it was just one of those things that got pushed to the bottom of the list. I'm sorry, I really am...

Kicked ass during the lecture test today! Yeah, felt damn happy for about 15 minutes after the test. Then I started worrying about French again. Writing my French oral presentation script. It's taking a ridiculously long time! I'm screwed come Saturday. Speaking of Saturday, let it be known that I was really irritated with all the people I asked about the play. I'd expected more enthusiasm, especially from some people. For God's sake, you're Humanities students. If watching a play doesn't interest you, then at least have the ability to give a decisive "No!", rather than a prevaricating "Maybe?" Maybe I'm being too harsh, but it just makes me wonder why I bother attempting to enthuse people about arts-related stuff. Doesn't matter anymore, Yumun's right anyway. Everyone makes their own choices, and if it's anyone's loss, it's really yours, not mine. Till tomorrow, I bid you adieu and good night.
