Be An Angel Day/Chinese Valentine's Day/Eat A Peach Day/Tooth Fairy Day
2004-08-22 @ 11:45 p.m.

Just finished typing another two sets of minutes for PW, and for once, I wasn't completely making it all up! Now there remains just the survey and the essay outline to be typed. I suppose I ought to say something about the Olympics. I think it's a pity that Li Jiawei's coming home empty-handed. Not because I'm particularly sympathetic towards my country which has been starved of an Olympic medal for 44 years (because I find that notion rather pathetic), but simply because it's a terrible thing to be denied twice in as many days. Paul Hamm, on the other hand, gets to keep his a all-round gymnastics gold medal that he won because of a scoring error. Well, you have to admit that it makes a lot more sense for Greece to suck up to the USA rather than South Korea...
