Friday The 13th/Lefthanders Day/Alfred Hitchcock's Birthday/Harvest Festival (Minnesota)/Gladiolus Festival (Illinois)/Carnation Festival (Ohio)
2004-08-13 @ 10:12 p.m.

I've decided that less than 10 people in my immediate social sphere in RJC deserve unconditional nice treatment. The rest of you will continue getting the usual brand of caustic/coarse humour/torture that I deliver (almost) daily, somewhat tempered by my inner heart of silver. Haha! I'm watching David Firth's Salad Fingers right now, which is like Happy Tree Friends, sans cute graphics. It is damn perverse and warped, which probably explains why Thong and Yi-Xun like it. If even perenially depressed Ben thinks it's bad, it's quite freaky. In other (slightly saner) news, I quite like Robert Frost's poetry. If my memory serves me correctly, one of the first poems I ever read was by Frost. Had to do it for either my Core or Extended Reading Programme, one of those bizarre (now that I think of it) methods of getting primary school kids to read serious books. Work is piling up, and it's due in no small part to my chronic procrastination. It includes the pain-in-the-ass International History term paper, which Mr Kwok kicked up a big fuss about today when we asked for an extension. He was absolutely bitchy for the rest of the lecture. Argh, I suspect my French orals are coming up soon, and I haven't even started writing my presentation yet...
