Just woke up after sleeping about four hours, going back in a minute. This is the comparatively more exciting post. The earlier one was just filler. Anyway, I don't think any of the girls were wearing red and white undergarments, which must have disappointed Allen. It was his idea anyway. As for Mr Tay, we forgot to check. This was (roughly) the conversation during the lecture yesterday: Allen: Sir, will you be wearing red and white underwear tomorrow? Then followed a lot of laughing and teasing of Mr Tay. Then Yumun overhead our conversation and said something about Yee Meng owning a pair of red and white boxers, and how all the girls have seen it. That took the cake! Quite evidently, Mathematics lectures reveal a lot, pun not intended. This is the juicy part, the takeaway as Mr Sowden might call it. A little scene took place during the rehearsal for tomorrow's CWC event. I won't say who was involved, or what exactly was said, but let it be known that I disagree with the student in question. Ms Ho's criticism was perfectly understandable, and coming at that juncture, not completely unwarranted, if a little unforgiving in its delivery. Today, Ms Ho wasn't nasty to those of us at the rehearsal. She just seemed tired and drained by it all. I came close to feeling sorry for her, but what holds me back is the thought that she is the root of all the problems. She was so incredibly absent-minded today. I mean, what else do you call someone who asks us to repeat the titles of our poems three times in the space of five minutes? Or maybe she just wasn't paying attention to us. Quite possibly, judging by our usual club meetings. Anyway, I hear tell she might be retiring soon... |
