Cousins Day/Public Opinion Day/Watermelon Days (Iowa)
2004-07-24 @ 10:17 p.m.

Mel's changed the class blog template, which looks a helluva lot nicer now. The colour scheme might need some tweaking though. Downloading a nice song from the Treasure Planet OST, John Rzeznik's I'm Still Here. Rzeznik happens to be a member of the Goo Goo Dolls. Just find the song damn nice. Incidentally, of all the animated characters I've seen, Jim has one of the nicest hairstyles. I'm jealous of people with soft hair. I think it's much easier to style. I hate looking cute when my hair is flat. It sets my teeth on edge hearing people say it looks cute. (No offence to those people!) Went to Aparna's house today instead of the rehearsal, since there was a whole bunch of people going there before going down to TJC for the debates finals. Shared a cab with Aparna and Zhong Xing, and all three of us promptly fell asleep in the cab. Woke up when we were in Tampines, to realise that the guy was driving us to TP instead of TJC. Anyway, had a very interesting vegetarian lunch at her place. (Plus The OC looks like such a fascinating show now!) I loved the paneer! Cottage cheese in curry, yummy stuff. The reception at TJC was nice too, an excellent choice of caterer. It's just as well that I missed the rehearsal, because I heard Ms Ho blew her top (and was being a snakey specimen of the female half of the canine species). It's really bad form to criticise the performance of people whom you've invited to play for you. I mean, they're under no obligation to play in the first place, so you ought to treat them better! Now everyone hates you. To end off on a light-hearted note, it was awfully (in both sense of the word) funny to see Sophia trying to behave like Aparna's lesbian partner on the MRT. Aparna was squirming away from Sophia, who was cooing away in wanton abandon. Haha! I hope Sophia doesn't kill me when she reads this...
