Ice Cream Cone Day/Vanilla Ice Cream Day/Private Eye Day/Garlic Festival (California)/Summerfest (Ohio)/Irish Cultural Festival (Ohio)
2004-07-23 @ 11:26 p.m.

Ms Ho is mad. Today, she called all of us together for a meeting after morning assembly to announce that she wants to push the Afternoon Of Poetry & Music back one week. This is to allow more alumni to be present at the reading. All this after giving us so much grief over how the banner needs to have details right up to the year. (As if any frigging idiot won't know it's 2004!) She flatly refused to listen to our protests, feeble ones because we knew it was a lost cause to begin with. What kind of person makes a decision like that without consulting anyone first? It's not like she's the only one involved in the damn thing. She's such an autocrat, not to mention petty! Where does she get off, passing judgement on people who quit the club, as if she could understand why they did so. The cause that people are most blind to is themselves. I feel like joining Art Club, just so that I can leave early and see as little of her as possible. (Plus Li Jun says that the Art Club room has a really nice view.) I can't believe how blind she is to the fact that she's at the heart of the seeming stagnation of CWC. For annoying me first thing in the morning, I'm paying her back by leaving early from tomorrow's rehearsal. I don't care if it's irresponsible, because she hasn't behaved very responsibly in this instance. I hate you like fire hates water. That is to say, a helluva lot more than is normal for me. You are, quite simply, insufferable.
