Monkey Day
2004-07-21 @ 8:07 p.m.

I am a lot happier today. Happy enough to carry out a conversation with Vaish, which was peppered with acerbic comments, on the train ride home. I've also just eaten half a tub of ice-cream! I feel sinful. It can only be the influence of the decadent book I'm reading now, Joanne Harris's Chocolat. Now I want to see the movie. On another note, Choon Hwee is frigging hyper and crazy! The moment she showed up, all hell broke loose around the banner. She painted me, my hair, my pants and my shirt with emulsion paint. I spent a good 10 minutes washing everything off. That said, I know realise that wet shirts do look dead sexy. Imagine what it'd be like if I was better-looking. As Vaish puts it, anyone flirting with me has bad taste. By the way, I sincerely beg to differ. I think anyone doing that has damn good taste, but for reasons having nothing to do with my looks (or lack thereof) whatsoever. Time to think of my RA article. Due date: Tomorrow. Status: Unstarted. Think I'll tell Abigail during CWC tomorrow that I'll hand it in on Friday or Saturday. Perhaps I shall do my recreative writing exercise instead. Thinking of using Duffy's Valentine, even though that will only invite Mr Purvis to compare it with our predecessors' work. Something Yumun said today struck me. Sometimes, I wonder if all he sees is my name...
