I've got hair gel! Everyone was just freaking me out today. Every other girl I bumped into would go something like, "Your hair's so cute!" It was quite scary. I do agree that this hairstyle is rather fetching, in a little boy way. Time to go back to spikes. Maybe I'll alternate, just for variety. I have a perpetual conflict with myself over which image I want to project, especially when the two are diametric opposites. One day, for the heck of it, I will attempt to spike up one side of my hair, and smooth down the other. Embodiment of my dual self, poised between conformist and non-conformist, naughty and nice, saint and sinner. (Alliteration again, which in itself is alliteration. Haha!) I like to believe that my personality is very balanced, maybe even chameleon-like. Actually, that's not supposed to be good, according to the DISC profiling. That reminds me. I'm doing DISC and MBTI again during YE this week. Damn, just remembered that I need to choose songs for worship... I was feeling rather moody all the way home today. The Lighthouse Family album that I borrowed from Mel helped a little. It was because of her, and yet not because of her too. Mind was preoccupied for quite a bit of the day. So I'm sorry, Sophia, if I didn't sound too sympathetic earlier. (Note to self: Go easy on the alliteration.) This line kept going through my mind during the walk to the station: "Will you miss me when I'm gone?" Quite likely to make it into a poem's opening stanza. Thinking of writing Vanilla Venom during tomorrow's Economics lecture. Like the title? Thought it was a rather interesting juxtaposition of words. I'll explore the idea when I get tired of listening to Mrs Tan. (Or when I give up trying to understand the lecture!) Oh, and our class has convinced Mr Tay to be the teacher-in-charge of our proposed class camp. He's damn nice, because we like just popped the question at the start of the tutorial, and he agreed with minimal fuss. Haha, can't imagine what kind of antics we'll get up to, a bunch of "dodgy" people like us as Ms Lim put it. Our class has a predilection for bawdy puns, so Antony & Cleopatra is a real laugh riot. Shakespeare, you dirty rascal! Damn it, I love my class. We rock! Listening to Black Ether now, while I'm downloading more stuff. Trying out Comesunder, Orphic Endeavors, Ostara and Streamline. I have yet to find some good New Age music on Download.com. Will try again later. I think I'll start buying online CDs soon. Bassic, Digitalism and Mike Andrews have all signed with DMI, so that means no more free music from them. What I really want to get though, are Ambient Generation's Habitat and Icebreaker. Time to convince my dad that buying CDs online is a perfectly acceptable notion, despite the price difference when you reckon the prices in SGD! Creative has come up with its latest MP3 player, the Zen Touch, which touts itself as the iPod of Creative. It looks really good, but I'd still prefer to get a Zen model with more storage capacity, even if it doesn't look as cool as the iPod. Music is my life. Favourite songs for mornings at the moment are Eternal Odyssey and After All (Andrew Sega Remix). For the nights online, there's She Will Be Loved and Lydia. My world will never be silent again... |
