Remote Control Day
2004-06-29 @ 10:47 p.m.

Economics could have been better, if I'd been better prepared. Don't really mind doing badly, since I didn't really study. Haha! I was still reading stuff on theory of the firm at 12.30 pm, 15 minutes before the reporting time. Tomorrow'll be fun though, because you can't really study for English like for History and Economics. I'm just taking my time to read the two texts. Not really taking it seriously for the remaining two subjects. Everyone assumes I'll do well for English. I want to, it's the only subject I'm aiming to get an A for, even though it's just the first Common Tests. For everything else, I'm only aiming to pass! Sometimes I wonder what my life would have been like if I'd been both in another country. Maybe poorer, maybe richer. Call me superficial, but I think rich people lead happier lives, or at least they can paper over their happiness better...

These past few days, I've been more alert than normal. Partly because the day's so slack, but also because I've been getting about an hour more of sleep. Or maybe it's the possibility of bumming in Starbucks with friends that keeps me awake. I like bumming! I'm bored. Don't feel like studying, just want to stay online and chat with people. Ah well. The news was reporting on a local blackout just now. Holland Village was affected! The trivial things that I bother to take note of just astounds me at times like this. Was scanning through my archives just now, correcting minor punctuation errors. (Yeah, I'm mildly obsessive-compulsive about things like that.) Oh man, the things I've blogged about, it's mortifying sometimes. (Not that I don't still do so!) I once said that I wanted to take 'A' Level Chemistry, and look where I am now? Yet I wouldn't have it any other way...

This week:
