Leon Day/Strawberry Parfait Day/Rooster Crowing Contest (Oregon)
2004-06-25 @ 4:48 p.m.

CAP dinner yesterday was okay. Food wasn't as nice as last two years', but at least I met some old acquaintances. Like Jia Chuan and Sam! They still remember my name! I'm so touched. Okay, not really, but vaguely thankful that people remember me. Sat at a table full of SCGS girls, which was really amusing, because they didn't have enough money between them to pay. Think they scraped together the money eventually. The entertainment was unentertaining! Except for The Fruit & Vegetable Cult! Their songs are frigging hilarious, such a Wei Liang thing. Stayed at NUS longer than I'd originally intended, just sitting around with other CAP alumni from across God-knows-how-many years. Later, we all trooped down to a coffeeshop, where I had this drink called Dinosaur. Milo with more Milo powder on top. Yummy. (Yes, I stepped into a coffeeshop voluntarily!) Oh, must thank Ben here, because I was distracting him for the entire night from his exciting Economics revision with boring SMSes about hot and/or interesting people around me. (Then again, I think only Ben could sustain an extended messaging marathon about that kind of thing.) Ben is clearly a nice guy, because I messaged him 46 times, and he replied each time!

The sky outside is an interesting shade of blue. It's really a sort of blue-grey, non-committal colour. Come to think of it, I won't mind having one wall painted that colour. I still want the surrealist and abstract walls, so I guess the window's going to be framed in blue-grey. I like Magritte's paintings. You know, the guy with the apple in front of his face? Yeah, that's probably Magritte's most famous painting. (I can't even remember what it's called! Was it The Man In The Bowler Hat? Think it was.) Anyway, I hate Italy and Germany. Damn, I wish they'd never been united to begin with. (Naturally, that is my sole reason for hating them. For now...) Don't get me started on the Cold War. (Stupid Americans! Stupider Russians! Or is it the other way round?) I finished reading Antony & Cleopatra sometime before 2 am today. First reading, need to go through it once more at least. Silas Marner too. Damn, I should have been more disciplined (as always). I give up (for the umpteenth time). Argh, why is the sky still beautifully blue-grey? I hate indecision. Make up your mind already! (Is it just me, or was that somewhat ironic?)
