First double entry is a long time. Let's blog about my horrible Mathematics! Today, I spent an entire afternoon on two questions. Had a brainwave and solved the first one. Then stared at the second one, before finally deciding that I couldn't come up with a shorter method than the one I already had in mind. Did the question, and got the wrong answer. Got annoyed, and stoned for a while, before spotting the mistake. Changed a few numbers, and still didn't get the correct answer. Looked closer, and spotted that the figures were still wrong, just slightly less wrong than they were previously. Changed them again, and finally got the right answer. Technically, I was off by 0.001, but I figure that's because my accuracy was higher. I don't round off my figures, most of the time. No particular reason, just like it that way. Sigh, Common Tests are in less than two weeks, and I feel so terribly unmotivated. Except maybe by Daniel's History revision notes, which are quite awe-inspiring, considering that I haven't read half the stuff. Are we really expected to fail? Then God help us all...
