Flag Day
2004-06-14 @ 11:10 p.m.

My revision plan, which never really existed anyway (except as some sort of abstract mental construct), has been completely derailed. I'm just doing question after question of trigonometry. I can't even get past that, let alone move on to other topics. Began re-reading the introduction to Antony & Cleopatra at RMUN, and it's interesting how I can't remember most of what I've read so recently. Has to do with the fact that I was usually half-asleep when I was reading. Think I should concentrate more on History, but that seems like a pretty hopeless task currently. Just remembered that I'm going back to CAP with the alumni next week. Heck, it's just the first round of Common Tests. Screw education, it isn't often that my interests and my education coincide anyway. Usually happens in languages, Literature and Chemistry, but seldom elsewhere. I firmly believe we should all be allowed to study whatever we want to, even if that makes us useless to Singapore, economically speaking. This whole business of broad-based learning should stop somewhere about Secondary 2. Then we can all just diversify! Who knows, all sorts of talents might start showing up in all sorts of fields...
