Bridge Day
2004-05-27 @ 11:55 p.m.

Went to see the doctor today. It's a viral infection, so there's nothing much he can do for me. Argh! At least I have nice orange-flavoured lozenges now. Heard from Ben that attendance today was quite pathetic, and Daniel's blog tells me that we couldn't even get enough people after combining all the three Humanities classes to resemble a class. That is so hopelessly funny! I think RJC's system of blue slips is too flawed and easy to take advantage of. My essay is still half-done after one whole day spent at home! That's probably because I've been busy downloading MP3s all afternoon. It took me until about 9 pm before I could get my introduction and conclusion just right. I began with the end in mind! So the problem now lies with building the body of my essay to that conclusion. It's quite a slick one, to borrow Ben's description. If only the rest of the essay were like the conclusion. I can't see how I'm going to finish it tonight though, since it's already nearing midnight. Hello, like I'm supposed to be sick right now. I should be resting and recuperating, not typing out some bloody essay! I heard 1A01B has an extension until Monday. Can I presume that applies to the other Humanities classes too? Probably, but just to be safe, I'll kill myself and stay up till 3 am. I hope I get a decent grade for this essay, at least that'll prove that last-minute work does work for me. Heck, it's paid off so far...
