Emergency Medical Services For Children Day/Plant Something Day/Circus Day

Allow me to regale you with a tale of the wonders of modern technology, because my essay has crawled to a standstill. My brain and my hands are at an impasse! Anyway, turns out the plug was fine. My sister turned on the computer in the morning, and it worked perfectly! Of course, being the very astute person that she is, she wisely elected not to tell anyone that significant fact. So, I messaged my mum to tell her to swap the plugs of the two computers. It works, and here's where she discovers the plug's actually fine. However, now the mouse doesn't work and the Pentium 4 hangs. I tell her to unplug the mouse and stick it back in again. That works, but now the Internet's down. So I come home, unplug the router, plug it back, and everything's hunky-dory again. You've got to love technology sometimes; you get screwed and you don't even know it. To sum up, I'm still handing the essay in on Friday, at least I think I am. Not sure I want to let it snowball over the weekend together with Mr Rollason's essay. Thank God Mr Purvis changed the GP essay to an outline to be done during class tomorrow! I used to think I was hardworking. Until I met you, you, you, and of course, you. Haha, not referring to anyone in particular, just a general statement of a fraction of the class. Oh, and some people should just shut up. Like get a life. If you didn't understand that, then it in all likelihood doesn't apply to you. Would you believe that I spent an hour searching for the perfect display picture? I wanted to change it, because my old one looked a tad disturbing. For starters, it didn't even look like me. Found a nice one anyway, and also came to the realisation that I'm highly unphotogenic when I smile. Henceforth, I will not smile in photographs. I look older than my age, and I've even been said to be trying to look older than my age. Maybe I should just go and get some sleep. So that I can read about the Korean and Vietnam Wars on the MRT tomorrow. I hate my life! Incoherently, I exit this post. Ian, focus! Think of the gathering at Mel's house. Wouldn't want the knife to slip while we were cutting the cheese now, would we?
