I think I have an affinity for little kids. My neighbour's son is really cute! I was taking the lift up with my neighbours, and from the moment he stepped in, he was practically gawking at me. He was staring at me right until the door closed. The way he was looking at me was so cute! Would have pat him on the head, but my hands were occupied. There's something endearing about all small children. I think it's their eyes, bright and undulled by the cares of time. Oh well, age still does have its merits, though I have to convince myself of that every single day. The combined guitar and harmonica concert at HCJC was so long! It started before 7 pm and ended near 10 pm. The harmonicas didn't sound as irritating as expected, and I liked the guitar rendition of Pachelbel's Canon, even though it did get a bit muddied at times. What I couldn't stand was the drama segment, accompanied by live guitars and harmonicas. The music was fine, the acting was fairly decent, but the plot was sentimental rubbish. It was like some moral education message. Something along the lines of how being understanding can help us to reconcile love and friendship when the two seem to be conflicting. I thought it was a terrible plot, especially the ending, which didn't resolve the whole my-best-friend-fell-for-my-boyfriend thing. Even so, why was there a faint twinge as I was watching it?
