I feel like a sunk cost. Unrecoverable! Just finished a crappy outline for Mr Kwok's tutorial on Thursday, without referring to anything else other than his lecture notes. I don't give a damn about his tutorials anymore! I should be feeling liberated, but I'm not. I just set up a class blog, and posted 17 poems to my new poetry blog. I hope my class blog is more successful than my OG blog! Will see how it goes with a small group first, if it goes well I'll add everyone else. I'm starting to think it was a bad idea to pick the Middlemarch piece over the Adam Bede one, because Benuel asked me what the tone of the former was, and I could only come up with languorous (because it's about love) or meditative (because it's a reflection on human relationships). Adam Bede is a bit easier, because there's some sense of ironic humour, I think. That leaves me with Mr Kwok's term paper to sort out, once I get all the readings! I'm quite irritated about not getting them, so much so that I'm contemplating playing truant on Friday, just to avoid having to hand in his term paper. On a side note, Peter Calvocoressi's World Politics 1945-2000 is highly readable, if not very good for developing arguments. Need the June holidays, before I become a variable cost, one which is increasing exponentially no less. That didn't make much sense now, did it? |
