Cherry Cheesecake Day/Birthday Of Shakespeare/St. George's Day/Festival Of Roses (South Carolina)/Crab And Seafood Festival (Oregon)/Rice Festival (South Carolina)/New England Folk Festival (Massachusetts)
2004-04-23 @ 11:52 p.m.

Just got back from In Vogue, which had fantastic music! The dancing was good, but often the music was just as good, or even better. I loved the songs they used for The Colour Dance and Under The Moon, those were quite ambient in nature. It was hard trying to spot any friends from the grand circle on the second level though. The concert seemed quite short, but perhaps that's because there wasn't an intermission. Stayed through the entire post-performance bustle on the ground floor. People milling around their dancer friends, talking, taking photographs, giving flowers, laughing, etc. Was there right until the end, when I left with some classmates. It was damn funny, but I won't elaborate because it's quite meaningless actually. My OG was supposed to go out for supper after the performance, but it took so long to get everyone together that we ended up not doing anything. It was quite a coincidence that Mel was sitting with Vaish, so I was sitting in the vicinity of mr OG anyway. Will that happen again at Chorale's concert? By the way, the expression on Mr Quenot's face when we stood up to leave was priceless! He looked so sad when we told him that we were attending two concerts, over two weeks. Didn't have the heart to tell him that I wanted to have Monday off so I could go for Vox Stellarum. Maybe next year, when there isn't French anymore.
