Just finished typing out the minutes for my third PW meeting. Minutes are so stupid. How can there be more marks assigned to process than to the essay (which really could be done in one day anyway)? PW is stupid. Period. Still, I feel quite accomplished. Time to catch up on my tutorials. It just hit me today during Mr Rollason's tutorial. I'm the only person in class slacking for History. Everyone else does the document papers, except me. I'm basically stoning during all our History tutorials. Quite annoyed with Mr Kwok now, because he accused me of being passively defiant for not doing the stupid outline for the tutorial question, when I was just too damn tired. Isn't it odd how I would do my utmost to please some tutors, but not give a damn about others? Man is a funny creature. I crave approval, but I shy away from too much of it. How do I find the balance, the middle ground that will keep me happy?

Can't wait for Dance Night. Finally, something unrelated to lessons and work! Oh, I learnt something really interesting about the type of questions we'll be getting in our 'A' Level English paper. There are passage-based questions, which is wonderful because it's just like doing practical criticism, except the demands are more specific. If I do well for that sort of question at Common Tests in July, I know what to focus on for the rest of my two years! Sigh, I desperately want to take a holiday. Even just going out after school with my class would be great. Need to escape from work just for this week. Then things will fall into place slowly but surely. There's the ideal, and there's the reality. We'll see how my world spins come next Monday...
