Pardon this random thought, but do you think the way you style your hair affects the image projected by you and perceived by others? I'd just washed my hair, and I happened to glance at the mirror on my way out of the toilet. The difference was quite unsettling. My spiked hair belies my nature. I look very innocent with unspiked hair. Not quite boy-next-door material, just a more wholesome image. Spiked hair is quite pretentious actually. Did I just hang myself with that sentence? Haha, maybe. Feeling quite irritated now, because I can't do my practical criticism properly, and today's practice was a total waste of my time. It started late because the microphones and amplifiers had to be set up and tested. Then all the small groups and the main ensemble did their songs. The J1 ensemble played our songs right at the very end of the practice, before we were let off. So in effect, I waited over an hour, to practise for 20 minutes. Understandably, I'm mildly annoyed to say the least. The time could have been put to much better use. Tomorrow's full-dress rehearsal had better be worth my time. Next time, I shall abandon moral principle and go home. Can't wait for concert to be over, then my life can begin again! On a brighter note, some of the people in French are trying to set up a French Club in RJC. An excellent idea, if they manage to get the school's approval. There'd be quite a lot of interest among the current and ex-students, I should think.
