Going to be coming home late for the rest of the week, so I need to start on the practical criticism of that Oliver Twist piece soon, or I'm going to die. Maybe I should just go beg Mr Purvis for an extension? I have some ideas, but I lack the focus to put them into words. I don't feel like turning up for practice tomorrow. It's quite a waste of time. Play three pieces twice, hear some comments, practice walking in and out while holding my guitar and footstool. That's what practice has been like recently. I don't see the necessity of doing this so many times. I think a full run would be a lot more instructive, but we're only having a full-dress rehearsal on Wednesday. My interview today was quite weird. I think I contradicted myself a lot, and I came across quite vacuous. Oh well, it's over and interviews be damned! Getting blue slips is very liberating. Got my first blue slip today, and it felt damn good to just walk out of school after the GP video. My interview was actually at 3 pm, but I wanted to skip PE because I hate PE, even though I probably need it more than anybody else. Besides, it turned out I was the only RJC guy having an interview in the afternoon. Saw Clarisse and Han from CAP 2002, amazed that he actually remembered me! So I left for my 3 pm interview at 9.45 am. I was dead bored sitting inside MOE HQ. Maybe I should have gone gallivanting in Holland Village or Orchard before turning up at the interview venue. Horrible fellow Rafflesians, all abandoning me. What happened to "one for all, all for one"? You should all feel guilty now. Haha!
