Bunsen Burner Day
2004-03-31 @ 11:47 p.m.

Yeah! Finally finished the poems for inclusion in the portfolio. That leaves me with the introduction, the Artist's Jam poem, and the compilation of past GP essays to get through. No sleep for me tonight, even though I was so tired I dozed off in the bus and missed my stop! I've realised that my latest poems are unusually long, and also unique, for different reasons. Flowers Become Screens, for the style of the writing. The Second Genesis, for the subject matter. I think A Darker Chaos is going to become another of those tanka-style poems. Not sure what I'm going to write yet, but I'd better make up my damn mind soon. Oh, did I forget to mention that I skipped a Mathematics lecture yesterday? This is the first really rebellious thing I've done in RJC. Next thing you know, I'll follow some of my friends' examples and get blue slips to come home and sleep. The lecturer was the more boring one, so I decided on the spur of the moment to take a break. It was so damn fun, that I'm going to do it again tomorrow and on Friday. I must say, Yi-Xun is a bad influence.
