Talk about coincidences. I'm in Hang Ten, when Kaiping messages me to tell me he just saw me. Then I look up, and I see Eddison walking into Hang Ten. I message Kaiping to tell him that, upon which he replies much later that he did too. It's a small world after all! I'm very happy today, for utterly superficial reasons actually. I bought a jacket from Hang Ten today, because Audrey had a voucher, which I think we ended up not using since everything was already at half-price! Now Chun Long can stop laughing every time he sees me wearing my dad's company jacket. I like the jacket! It's black, and I got it for $39, the original price being $89. Maybe the Hang Ten store at Northpoint is closing down, so they're trying to clear their stocks. I bought more stuff today too, like this encyclopaedia on poetry and poetics that I picked up because it was selling for less than $30 and I thought it might be useful someday, or at least look nice on the shelf. I also bought The Da Vinci Code, which I wanted to buy last year, but was too broke to do so. Then I convinced my dad to pay for the paperback version, because it was a bestselling book (which pretty much describes most of the novels I own so that isn't saying much). Oh yes, I also bought this new hair product to test, L'Oréal's Remix. It supposedly allows the user to restyle their hair wherever, whenever. Hope it's an improvement over Aqua Gel, which didn't quite work to my expectations. I suspend disbelief until Saturday, when I try it out... Never have my holidays been so busy, and we're not talking school work here. Tuesday - Class gathering at Chernise's house. Wednesday - Guitar practice. Thursday - Movie with family. (The Haunted Mansion should have been made into a cartoon, not a pretentious movie with live characters!) Friday - Student Venture dinner (not going). Saturday - Guitar practice, possible movie with class (not going), practice for combined fellowship worship, OG outing to Sentosa (most probably not going). How am I supposed to get any work done and still remain a sane and healthy individual getting eight hours of sleep? Not to mention read a lot of stuff (academic and otherwise). Don't bother to answer that by the way, I won't heed your advice. Haha, at least I have precious little homework this time round, or I'd decide to skip the whole of O2 by feigning sickness or something... |
