Pi Day/Potato Chip Day/Plant A Flower Day/Genius Day/Irish American Day/St. Patrick's Day Parade (Massachusetts)

Finally finished the Bible study on compassion and sent it to Kenneth. I basically modified and pieced together something from two different sources. Hope it works out well, can't imagine what I'm going to do for my workshop on success/academic achievement. I swear they gave me that deliberately, which bothers me somewhat. I happen to feel it isn't particularly related to the Bible. I mean, academic achievement? Get real. Maybe success, but what do I know about success at 16? There's so much I want to say about how things are like now, but I can't because it wouldn't be fair to the people involved. Shan't dwell on this, everything will come right in its own time...

Yesterday's weather was terrible. I was at the bus stop in Yishun, and it started raining. So I took the bus all the way to the interchange, then walked through the underpass to the MRT. When I reached the platform, guess what? It stopped raining. Then as I got off at Ang Mo Kio, the clouds were starting to gather in the sky. It was drizzling by the time I reached the bus stop there. Just as I turned into Holland Road, it started pouring. It's like the bad weather was following me around. Kind of creepy. It didn't help that I was reading this book of short horror fiction, Noctuary by Thomas Ligotti. Never heard of him, it's just one of the books I picked up in the RJC library because I thought the title was clever. Anyway, we ended up eating at Burger King yesterday. How dumb was that? Going all the way to Holland Village to eat fastfood. It's all Joshua's fault! Never mind, at least he brought his digital camera, so I snapped a lot of pictures...of myself! Now they're all accusing me of being vain. New display pictures coming soon anyway! I thought I looked quite nice in the last few shots. I've realised I don't look nice photographed from the side. My side profile isn't particularly striking. Still, maybe I'll take up Shirley's offer and model for her design class one day?
