Just got back home, after sending home three people living in the north. Oh my God, someone looked damn pretty just now at Drama Feste! Haha, how uncharacteristic of me to be so blunt, right? Seriously though, I thought she looked good before I saw her at Drama Feste. Now I can understand why there are people interested in her. Anyway, the four faculties put up quite different plays just now. I think either Arts or Medicine will win, but since I'm biased, I think Arts deserves to win because our play just felt more cohesive as a whole, more creative plot-wise. It was quite irreverent, especially the parodied Lord's Prayer, which would have been downright blasphemous in any other situation. I loved the play! I thought Medicine did well too, just that their plot revolving around a therapist and her patients was a tad clichéd. CPS was not bad, quite funny, but I didn't like the ending. It was way too abrupt, and left too many questions hanging in the air. The worst was Engineering! The script is quite good, interesting ideas that could be expanded into a full-length play. It's just that they had too many scene changes, and they used the same music throughout all the transitions, so it was damn boring! The parallel plot structure wasn't closely linked enough, so that was kind of weird to watch. I think I'll like help out in Drama Feste 2005, just for the heck of it... |
