Today was a damn funny day, all things considered. I feel this is the worst day of the timetable, because it starts with an Economics lecture (which is a good time to do homework), and then it follows up with a International History lecture (with our "favourite" tutor). Then comes the stupid Mathematics tutorial which is just there so that the Arts faculty can teach at a slower pace. Should I feel insulted or grateful that they obviously think our mathematics is lousy? Anyway, I survived Economics, but I was dozing off in History! We had a quiz on partial fractions and binomial series, so that was quite slack. Here comes the fun part. Mr Purvis brought his niece to class today. She has nice features, in my opinion, which according to Yi-Xun doesn't say much since I have bad taste. So he was just talking about how he was brought up in a Baptist church, and how his aunt left the church because her son got his girlfriend pregnant. Guess what happened right after he said that? Yi-Xun's knocked his stuff of his table. He claims it's a coincidence, but nobody really believes him. The timing was just too good to be true! Coupled with the fact that he has the brain most masculinised brain in the whole class, scoring -10 out of a possible 300, it's easy to understand why no one believes him. Knowing Yi-Xun, I wouldn't be surprised if that really came to pass in the future. Haha... |
