Cheese Day/Penguin Awareness Day/Stay Young Forever Day
2004-01-20 @ 9:57 p.m.

Mr Rollason skipped our tutorial today because he was feeling sick. Thank God nobody was mad enough to go and tell Mr Kwok to come in early. This week has been so slack, the real work's beginning next week! According to Mr Sowden's short activity during Economics tutorial, I'm considered a rational person. Is that surprising? Stayed back to help out with the Arts Faculty's Chinese New Year decorations. Not that I originally intended to, but there was nobody to go home with today, so I thought I'd help out. I'm glad I did though, even if I didn't really do much! Just painted a few pseudo-lotuses and stuck a few crêpe fans around the steps at the porch. Anyway, learnt something interesting today during one of my breaks. I shall keep everyone in perpetual suspense, since I'll never ever tell what it was I found out! I'm being lame again. I should just get offline and clear all my History readings, which are like piling up too quickly for comfort. Still need to complete Silas Marner, which I'm beginning to like after getting through the first few pages. Oh, and I've started going to Student Venture. It's this group of Christian students who meet up on Mondays, Wednesdays and Fridays before assembly. They're having a welcome tea for the J1s at the end of the month. It's actually at Trueway Presbyterian Church, right opposite mine. How convenient...
