Martin Luther King, Jr. Day/Martin Luther King, Jr. Holiday Celebration (Arkansas)/Martin Luther King, Jr. Day (Delaware)/Whisper "I Love You" Day/Popcorn Day

That woman in the library is such a bitch! You can't say a single word in the library (which isn't really that great), or she'll start glaring at you. Say a few more words, and she'll march right up to you and threaten to throw you out! I understand a library should be a quiet environment, but I think she's being a little extreme here. The only students there were doing some stupid Economics tutorial worksheet, with some J2s sitting in one corner reading magazines and throwing us the occasional bemused look. She's crazy! I suspect even my expatriate tutor thought she was overreacting. Who the heck would want to join Library after seeing her, even with the amount of points you can get under the PEARLS system, which is total bullshit by the way, judging by what I heard at the briefing during PE today. Sigh, if I can make Guitar Club my core CCA I think I can scrape through with a B grade at the end of 2 years. You can't fail NAPFA if you want to apply for a scholarship; you need at least a Silver. I'm going to die man...

I think I'm falling behind in my History readings, and I have yet to start Silas Marner! I read the introduction, now I feel so intimidated by the genius that is George Eliot. I think my Mathematics lectures and tutorials are moving way too slowly. Maybe it's because we're an Arts faculty class, so they think we're lousy or something like that? Why else would we have an extra tutorial that lasts all of 40 minutes when precious little can be done in that amount of time? Sigh, had to go look for Mr Purvis today because he was late for GP, then I hadn't the foggiest idea where he sits. So I walked into Staff Room 1, and who should I meet but my creepy History tutor. Actually, I met both my History tutors, but the nice one gave me very vague directions. The creepy one was more helpful, but I still couldn't find Staff Room 2. My sense of direction is quite pathetic at times! Irony being ever present in my life, Mr Purvis was already in class by the time I got back! Then my Economics tutor was sick, so we had a slack tutorial in the library, which I've already grumbled about above. It rained when we were going to French, and it was raining when we left! Stupid weather, of all the days to rain. I want to be damn rich when I grow up, so that my children won't have to put up with things like rainy days. Let them be spoilt brats I say, just for the heck of it. Irresponsible future parenting? Whatever...
