What shall I say about JC orientation? Nothing much for now, I guess, too shagged to type much. Basically, we did mostly icebreakers and station games today. The station masters have this thing about insisting on pairing guys and girls during the games. Like whatever! Learnt a little bit of the batch dance, which was hard because I'm just a tad challenged in the area of coordination. Oh, and everything starts with a J. Like my OG's name (J'faien), the name of JC1 Orientation 2004 (Jaxoras), etc. That's just a small sample by the way. Orientation was fun! We're divided into two "warring" factions, and one of my OGLs, Gabriel, is the title character of our faction. Kasegon rocks! Haha, okay back to orientation. So after we were dismissed, we hung around trying to decide on a place to eat. Then we decided to go to Holland Village, which is an absolutely cool place! There's so much food there, and it all looks so chic and expensive. Out of point there, but it looks like an interesting place to frequent. I shall be a "Holland Village kid" and forget about the "Orchard kids"! There's a Coffee Bean there, so that's half the battle won in my head at least. It was so weird, because we were just walking around from place to place, looking for somewhere that could sit around a dozen of us. We ended up at Burger King, where the entire upper floor was dominated by JC1 students, with the exception of two small groups of ACJC students. So many people were blatantly playing cards! Then we waited for our OGLs, and then Alina suggested we go cycling tomorrow. The latest word is that we're not doing that, but we're going to Gabriel's place. So it turns out I can attend Hong Meng's wedding! Yay, now everything's worked out perfectly! |
