Boxing Day/Boxing Day (Canada)/Boxing Day (UK)/St Stephen's Day/Candy Cane Day/Kwanzaa
2003-12-27 @ 12:10 a.m.

It was so funny today! The girls were standing around at the vending machine because they were too afraid to go up by themselves. I swear I'm not lying, Shu En messaged me that herself. Ostensibly, they were waiting for me. How nice of them, but I find it a little hard to believe that that was the only reason. It turned out the guys were already stoning on the couch upstairs! I reiterate, the Chinese congregation people rock! They're very friendly from what I've seen. I think someone from YE has her eye on someone there, because she's invited them to YE this Sunday for our monthly Games Day. Not mentioning names here, because this is purely my speculation. Quite amusing though, this kind of stuff always seems to happen when we have inter-organisation camps. There was a lot more of it last year though. Some people can be so desperate sometimes! Okay, the funniest thing that happened was when Amelia asked me, "Are you really 16? You don't look 16." I look 21 apparently, must remember to find out from her why she said that. Is it a compliment on how mature I look (21 was the age I put down in Friendster by the way), or is it insinuating that I look old? Whatever, I look 21 to some people. Period. At least I don't have to lie about my age, not like some people. Right, Shirley? Argh, still have to settle the programme for the Games Day. Oh, Uncle Kenneth just dropped me a friendly e-mail to inform me that I've gone from being a nobody, to a cell group leader, to the supervisor of the cell. Incidentally, usually the older people take on that role, because it is supposed to be an adult mentor assigned to each group! I've yet to recall someone my age doing mentoring. Should I be surprised? I first became a cell leader when I was 14 actually, don't ask me why! Then I took a break for one year. Now I'm the mentor to the group, which happens to consist of people my age and slightly older! This is so weird...
