I think my relatives are finally starting to wise up to the type of presents they should be buying. I got only two articles of clothing this year, which I quite like so that's cool. I just don't like people buying clothes for me because they've got no idea what I like to wear. I got quite a bit of chocolate too. Food is a safe bet for a gift anytime. Still, I maintain that the best Christmas gifts are those you buy yourself, for yourself. After all, who knows better how to make you happy than yourself? Ergo, we should just give people money instead of presents. Kind of impersonal you might argue, but extremely practical the way I see it. Feel free to disagree. I'll freely admit that such a method lacks the human element, and probably shows how we're devolving as a society to the state of Forster's Machine society. Oh, and the Chinese congregation people are really nice. Yesterday they extended an invitation to us to their gathering tomorrow. They're cool, friendly bunch of people. Argh, school's starting in slightly over a week. I miss (some of) my ex-classmates. Maybe we'll end up in the same orientation group? I'd like to write some poetry before the year ends, but something just feels like it's missing. The spark is there, but there's nothing to fan it into a flame, if even for a brief moment...
