Santa Claus Day (Iowa)/Hanukkah/Go Caroling Day/Winter Solstice Festival (Illinois)
2003-12-20 @ 11:43 p.m.

We're about to have a meeting with Uncle Kenneth on next year's YE programme. I ended up attending because I sat down at their table. Call it wrong place, wrong time. Anyway, the first day of camp has been pretty nondescript. Sarah is very good at doing icebreakers! Don't tell her that, or she'll never do icebreakers again. It was raining quite a bit today. Oh, and I got a silver bottle during the registration thing at church. So stupid, I travelled from home to church, then from church pass my home to the campsite. Then Zhiwei just has to tell me that he didn't register, he just came after they'd already reached the campsite. Never mind, I must remember to propose having the camp elsewhere next time. Okay, so we made this rocket thing today to launch an egg, or they did at least, since I was taking the photographs. They took until after the sermon to finish up the whole activity. I suppose that was a good thing, since they cancelled their scavenger hunt because of the rain. What are wet weather plans for anyway? No further comments will be made on the organisation of the camp, since we should all just forgive and hopefully forget...
