Misa de Gallo/Beethoven's Birthday/Sleep Comfort Day
2003-12-16 @ 10:42 p.m.

Right now I'm listening to yet another album downloaded off the Internet. At least this was a legal download from Ampcast, not like the illegal download of Rachel Steven's Funky Dory that I was doing in the afternoon. She's beautiful, did I mention that before? That probably explains why she's had no trouble going solo after S Club split up. Anyway, back to what's playing on my computer right now. It's Habitat, by Ambient Generation. After one listen, it's ranking damn high on my list. Second only to Amethystium's Aphelion, and it could topple that. Delerium is still fine, just that I'm not filled with teenage angst these days, so the darker sound of their earlier albums has lost some of its attraction. Not that I was ever a very angsty person to begin with, but I liked the harder sound of their music for a while, a few months ago. These days I've gone back to New Age and ambient, with the occasional electronica track. This'll probably last until tomorrow though, after which I'll have got my hands on more of bond's music, so that will pretty much dominate the CD player for a week or so. In case you haven't figured it out by now, this entry has absolutely no point to it. I'm just rambling on about my eclectic musical taste because I've got nothing to write about. Come to think of it, that's really a half-truth. There are a lot of things I want to say, but won't. Sounds stupid, but I can't explain why. Heck, I'll just forget all about it until during camp, then we can all sit up at night talking to me about life, the universe and everything! Thanks to Shirley, I've got the perfect excuse anyhow. You must teach me to be a good photographer, okay? If not when the photographs come out looking bad, don't scold me...

This week:

Las Posadas
