I'm down with food poisoning, again. It could have been the coconut milk in last night's mocktail, or perhaps it was today's lunch at Phi Phi Don Island. There are a lot of Caucasians bumming around there, probably backpackers here to sun themselves and screw around. Incidentally, that's where The Beach was filmed. For all the hype in the brochure, the visit to Phi Phi Islands was a letdown. Firstly, it was raining the whole way; the rain conveniently stopped only when we were leaving. Secondly, the snorkelling here was nothing compared to that in Cairns. The water in Cairns is a lot clearer. Here, all we did was flop around in murky saltwater, looking at the few fish that the bread thrown into the sea had managed to attract. After lunch, we were stuck doing nothing at the restaurant! Argh, I'm going to sleep now, hopefully I'll feel better tomorrow?
