Winter Flowers Day/Brownie Day/Birthday Of The Lizard King/Imagine Day/Full Moon Day/Luciafest (Iowa)
2003-12-08 @ 10:59 p.m.

The first day of our trip wasn't too bad, if one ignores the ridiculously long queues at Phuket International Airport! Their lack of a sense of urgency is appalling, but maybe I'm just too used to the efficiency of Changi. Anyway, I didn't do much in Phuket today, just lazing around in the hotel room. I tried some alcoholic cocktail though, Bacardi mixed with exotic fruit juice. It was a tad too bitter for my taste, so I gave it to my dad. Now I've just finished watching some French movie, something to do with farmers and mad cow disease. The farmer's granddaughter is pretty! I never expected to find StarWorld here, let alone TV5! I think I'll subscribe to the French channel on CableVision, if there is one that is. That's all for now, don't miss me too much...

This week:

Great Native Americans Week
