Great Alaska Shootout (Alaska)/Christmas Festival Of Lights (Louisiana)/Independence Day (Suriname)/Shopping Reminder Day
2003-11-25 @ 10:56 p.m.

This rocks, I just spent more than $100 on books for myself! Don't bother asking what I bought, because it's nothing terribly interesting to most people. I still maintain that half the fun in books lies in possession. Nobody seems to agree though, but who cares what they think? It was madness I tell you. From Centrepoint to Northpoint, from Times to Popular, and buying so many books. The car was like totally packed with plastic bags full of books, books and more books! I think this book sounds cool, Idlewild by Nick Sagan. If you're wondering, that's Carl Sagan's son. I also bought the prequel trilogy to Frank Herbert's Dune, something I've been dying to read since forever. Speaking of doing things, I really have to decide what to wear for the confirmation service and the graduation dinner. Preferably, I won't need to change from one outfit into another. It has to go with my new hair colour too. I'm dyeing my hair tomorrow, but I still haven't picked out a colour. Not blond, because it looks so weird. Not that blue looks very normal mind you, just that blond strikes me as being really strange. Then again, what do I know about such things...
