My testimonial says that I'm "highly intelligent" and "effectively trilingual". Both are absolutely true! Relax if you find your testimonial's only one page long, because sometimes a lot of the things they write into the testimonial are redundant, especially for your CCA, since that's already reflected on your CCA record. No point repeating yourself if you ask me. Of course, I'm certainly not as good as Benjamin, who has a testimonial that's three pages long. Do you think he's compensating for something? Perhaps, perhaps not! Whoever is supposed to be in charge of the CCA records is really stupid. Twice I've changed Creative Arts Programme Mentorship to Creative Arts Programme Seminar, and they still got it wrong in the end! So I sent it back to be changed again. They'd better get it right, or else they're real imbeciles. I don't know how I should fill in my JC application! First choice RJC Arts, second choice RJC Science. What then? Then what should I fill in for the RJC course options? Closing my eyes and pointing at different combinations sounds like a fine way to go about doing it... I went to Yi Han's house today with Kai Ping and Jin Jie. It was quite fun, we ordered pizza and played cards until 5 pm. Don't order the barbeque pizza from Canadian Pizza! You have been warned. It's gross! The Hawaiian pizza isn't too bad though, it's cheesy and very nice. I picked up the basics of mahjong, and I really can't understand how people can get addicted to that game. I think it's quite retarded! Is it like some part of my traditional Chinese culture that I'm not aware of? Speaking of which, I have precious little connection to my Chinese heritage apart from speaking the language. It's quite sad, but I'll write about that some other time. I think people play mahjong for such extended periods of time to recoup their losses! Ah whatever, I don't really give a damn about mahjong. Then on my way home, I think I saw Chee Seng at Dhoby Ghaut. Well, at least it looked like him. I can't be sure though, I was looking at the side profile. Earlier, in the morning, I'd also seen Rachel and Martin at Ang Mo Kio. Sigh, I've just finished designing some graphics for my dad's Powerpoint presentation. In exchange, I have more spending power tomorrow at Times, at least that's what I think. A little pressure should do the trick in any case. By the way, the car's back two days early! Hurray, no more unnecessary trips on stupid public transport... I've decided that I will dye my hair before the graduation dinner after all. On Wednesday morning, to be precise. I can't dye it any later because I need to get a haircut soon, and it's waste of money to dye short hair. The colour has yet to be confirmed, I'll pick it out on the spot. Yi-Xun's dyeing his hair blond, because blonds have more fun. It's no coincidence that blonds are stereotyped as being dumb. In his case, I reserve judgement for now. I look forward to seeing his new look, and the reactions of people like Chester. Maybe Chester will feel inspired to go dye his hair? I wonder what the teachers will say when they see his blond hair... |
