Birth Of The Blues Day/W.C. Handy Birthday Celebration (Alabama)/International Day For Tolerance/Statehood Day (Oklahoma)/Fast Food Day
2003-11-16 @ 11:12 p.m.

I'm going to the CAP dinner! CAP people are a lot more fun to talk to, no offence to the rest of my contacts. At least they like initiate conversations and can carry on extended conversations. CAP rocks! Anyway, a lot of stuff happened today, at least in comparison to the usual humdrum days. Firstly, I was involved in a car accident! This Japanese guy crashed into our car somewhere in Orchard. The light was like red, just a few seconds shy of turning green, and he just took off, literally. I guess this dreamy driver, note the alliteration, decided that the light was really green after all. So now the car's dented, how tragic. Then we went to trade in our handphones. I wanted the Nokia 3300, because it plays music, then I don't need to get the iPod anymore. Sadly, it's out-of-stock, so I had to settle for the 6610. Then I didn't realise I'd activated the security code! So they couldn't trade in my handphone in the afternoon. I went back in the evening though, because my dad figured out how to reset the code. I think the Nokia 6610 is nice, but I think it reacts too slowly to the buttons? Oh well, I'll have to learn to live with it for the next two years...

It finally happened. My CD rack is now totally filled! I bought another Jars Of Clay CD yesteday, then I bought The Piano Player today. I need another rack soon, because I'm going on a spending spree after the 'O's. I still need money for my iPod though, can someone rich give me money? Thank you! I read the first few pages of Teach Yourself Latin, and already I feel like ripping the book to shreds. The only problem is that it's a library book, and I'll need to borrow it again in the future. I can't even remember the rules of pronunciation, let alone attempt to understand the grammar of Latin. I suppose the pronunciation won't really be that important though, since as I pointed out before, who really speaks Latin nowadays? I like the sound of Latin though, so I want to be able to speak it with some fluency and clarity, like my French. Maybe I should just go mug for History instead...
