Literature papers today weren't all that bad, in fact I think I might do better than I did for Social Studies. Anyway, we're all very amused that The Lumber Room came out as the passage-based question! I was hoping for one of the shorter stories, like The Destructors. No matter, I'm glad The Lumber Room came out. As for Paper 1, Mrs Smith would be very happy to know that I didn't use To Make A Prairie in answering the Poems: Deep And Dangerous question. It just wasn't applicable! I mean, what's so sad about To Make A Prairie? I picked The Centre Of The Universe by Paul Durcan and Balloons by Sylvia Plath. Overall , I felt good about the essays I'd written, at least better than I normally feel after writing Literature essays. Hopefully, that means I'll actually do better than usual! Now I shall go and do a practice Paper 2 for Elementary Mathematics, which means I won't be studying for Higher Chinese tonight. The cycle of mugging the night before the actual paper is starting to repeat itself... |
