Republic Day (Turkey)
2003-10-29 @ 11:07 p.m.

L'auberge Espagnole just finished downloading, along with the first part of Le Fabuleux Destin D'Amélie Poulain. I love that show! It's really nice, in a quirky sort of way. Anyway, can't play L'auberge Espagnole yet because I need to get the DivX codec to decompress the avi file. So that's why I couldn't play all my Corrs videos! A quick update on my studying, I've only completed half a subject, Social Studies, so I'm basically screwed for 'O' Levels. Maybe I can scrape through with the requisite number of A1s, plus a couple of Bs and perhaps even Cs. Oh well, I don't suppose it'll turn out as bad as I'm thinking it will. I've realised that the only subject I'm afraid of failing is Literature. Not really because Mrs Smith would probably kill me, but more because if I fail it, it'll be totally my fault for not working hard enough. Of all my subjects, only my Higher Chinese has received less effort, seriously. French doesn't count because I have an intuitive connection with the language, to a very minor extent of course. Argh! Three more weeks...
