For your information, I'm downloading a R(A) movie right now, L'auberge Espagnole, or The Spanish Apartment as it is being released in Singapore. Before you start condemning me, let me point out that it's rated R(A) locally because it has a lesbian character. Talk about prudish censorship, I mean the movie was nominated for six Césars, the French equivalent of the Oscars, including one for Best Picture. I think I might start downloading other French movies too, but it's quite tedious to download movies using Kazaa, because the files are huge and they take forever to download. Anyway, today's Physics practical was so easy compared to the Biology one. Yet I still couldn't think of plotting F against 1/s. No matter, perhaps they will accept the less-than-ideal solution of plotting F against s, then plucking any two sets of values and comparing their products to prove Fs=constant. Who cares, it's only two marks off at the most. I just pulled out all my notes from all the various subject files, and they completely fill two thick ring files. That's not counting the Literature texts I have to re-read, and the various textbooks still unread. With one week to the start of the main 'O' Level papers, I'm understandably a little out of sorts. Not quite stressed, but tense. I refuse to feel stressed because it's highly counter-productive. The only thing that cheers me up is knowing that it's only three more weeks until freedom, for me at least. This is where I pause to laugh at all Geography students! I still haven't decided what colour I'll be dyeing my hair, but I can already imagine the responses I'll be getting from the various circles of friends, which will probably range from mild surprise to outright shock. Let's face it, I'm not really the kind of person you'd expect to go and dye his hair. I promise it won't be too shocking, like green or blue, something more conservative like dark brown and only after the graduation dinner as I don't think Mr Johari would be too amused... |
