Such a waste of time! I went all the way down to school just to submit the damn application form, only to have a certain administrative staff member bitch at me the moment I appear at her desk. She scolds me for every little thing I forgot to do, like not writing my name on my passport-size photographs, and then bitches at me when I accidentally tear the form while detaching it at her request. Then she has the gall to tell me, "I don't mind giving you another form, since I have extra copies." I can't imagine why the school hired her. You'd think the entire student population was her mortal enemy in a previous life. Like get a life bitch, instead of sitting there like a frumpy old woman! So I ended up wasting the entire morning and early afternoon, which could have been better spent doing my mindmaps! I've learnt though, that most people who haven't finished simply can't be bothered with her demands anymore. What kind of extra lesson is it when nobody knows for certain when and where is the lesson going to be held? I did only two mindmaps today, but I think they were really good pieces of work compared to what I normally produce! Anyway, instead of throttling someone to release my frustration after trying to submit the form, I went to Junction 8 and bought a CD. Shopping is fun, that is, when you're spending someone else's money. I bought a Sting album, Fields Of Gold, because it was a greatest hits album with most of the songs that I know. I wanted to buy this Gregorian chant 3-in-1 CD pack, but I didn't know half the songs so I figured I might as well download them after the 'O's. Then I came home to play bridge! I know, it's quite stupid to waste time like that, but I couldn't resist playing. I haven't played bridge for a long time, not even at Yi-Xun's house. So Shen Ting and I were in the Social Lounge, and for some strange reason, we thrashed the opposition. The score midway through the first set, the score was something like 1000+ to nil. It would have stayed that way if I hadn't overbidded and lost one contract. The final score, after the rubber, was 2740 to 720. I stopped after that because Shen Ting got bored, and I needed to do some Literature. It was damn hilarious watching the opposition bid, then lose tragically. Even Allan couldn't help them break past 1000! Talk about a lucky streak... |
